Chris Fisher is currently the Executive Producer/Director for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount +).  In addition to Executive Producing, he also directed the season one finale, season two premiere, and season three premiere.  

An exciting aspect of launching Strange New Worlds was producing the first series designed exclusively for Augmented Reality (AR).  Chris is responsible for all AR production, including running a virtual art department (VAD) to design and build AR environments as well as directing the majority of AR scenes, making him one of the leading experts in the world.

Since 2009, Chris has focused on television as the producer/director of four hit genre shows in a row: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2020 – 2024), The Magicians (2016 – 2020), Person of Interest (2012 – 2016), and Warehouse 13 (2009 – 2012).  He has directed over 80 episodes of television, produced over 200 episodes, and has received numerous awards.  Chris is also a writer of television with multiple produced episodes of The Cleaner as well as multiple pilots under development.

From 2001 until 2011, Chris was the writer, producer, and director of six feature films.  Two of his films were selected for the Sundance Film Festival and he has worked with multiple Oscar winners (Jennifer Lawrence, Whoopi Goldberg, Cuba Gooding Jr, Marlee Matlin, and Greg Kinnear) as well as multiple stars (Sam Jackson, Queen Latifah, Ray Liotta, Alexander Skarsgaard, etc.).

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Doctor of Law from USC, and is a member of the DGA, WGA, and California Bar.
